My life is movement…
As far back as I can remember I’ve loved to dance.
Whilst the other boys played football or wrestled each other to the ground in the mud, I practiced dancing and martial arts.
After travelling to India in my early twenties searching for….I’m not sure what…I came across a stick of bamboo. It became my first ever flow prop, and here began my love of the staff. Rooted in martial arts, my love of flow arts grew and grew, and after my first ‘burn’ on a beach, playing with fire became my absolute passion.
Settling in India for a number of years, I founded a community circus space (Sita’s Circus), and spent many years refining my skills and costumes, expanding my love of fire to include Lights and Lasers and Bubbles, and co-running Internationally recognised circus conventions and choreographing circus shows for the local community and tourists visiting South Goa.
I re-settled my roots back in Jersey with my wife (who co-ran the circus in India), and my two daughters and continued to build my business here in Jersey and escape to India and refresh my knowledge and shows each winter.
I created the Giant Bubbleman, and the bubble machine that I use is one-of-a-kind and 100% my own creation. Bubbles now is as big a part of my hired work as fire, and I absolutely love my role playing with them both.
My love of fire has only grown over the years, and I now create the biggest fire shows that the Channel Islands have ever seen (that’s not ego talking, it’s just fact!).
The past few years have been hard for anyone in the entertainment or events world. We’ve been shut down so many times now I’ve lost count! But I can’t turn off my passion for performing, and so I’m here, ready to make something big happen!
